G K & N export remote tracked jetting reel to New Zealand

G K & N’s reputation has spread far and wide – even as far as New Zealand.

Last September Gary and Karen received an enquiry from Mark Gover, whose company Frontline Machinery is based in Whenuapai, a suburb of Auckland City.

Mark was looking for a piece of equipment that could access areas that weren’t suitable for large jetting tankers – for example sports fields, railways or underground car parks.

G K & N had just the right piece of kit for the task – the remote, tracked jetting reel. These clever devices come in two sizes, the narrower version being small enough to fit through doors. Because they run on tracks they can move over soft ground without sinking, and can also travel over rough rubble areas.

Working as an extension of a Jet Vac tanker – with the Jet Vac’s hose connected to the remote reels – they are used to clear drains and empty tanks in the places other drainage equipment can’t reach.

Their compact size means they can be transported by small trailer, in the back of a van or even sent out by pallet courier service.

The reels are fitted with a standard 200m of 1” hose but can be made with an extra wide reel to carry longer hose lengths if required.

After Mark’s enquiry was confirmed as an order the G K & N team built the remote, tracked reel for Frontline Machinery, and it was ready for shipping in time for Christmas!

Karen Elsy said, “Although most of G K & N’s business is in the UK it was great to receive an order from the other side of the world!”

And there may be more to come. Mark was so pleased with his purchase that he took time out on a recent UK visit to meet with Gary to discuss a potential Jet Vac project.
